Iguassu Falls, located on the border of the State of Parana , is one of the most famous attractions in all of Brazil. These 275 massive waterfalls are divided between Argentina & Brazil and provide vastly different views and experiences depending on what side you view them from. Within the surrounding city of Foz do Iguaçu the main tourist attractions go hand-in-hand with the most exuberant scenery provided by nature and mankind.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1: IGUASSU FALLS
Today you fly south to Iguazu, where you will be met for transfer to your hotel, the only hotel located within the National Park on the Brazilian side Das Cataratas . You'll be able to explore the trails around the falls directly from the hotel. 70% of Iguassu Falls is located on Argentinean territory, but most of the Falls face Brazil. For this reason it is advisable for the visitor to see the Falls from both the Brazilian and Argentinean sides. The natural border between Brazil and Argentina is the Iguassu River. During your visit to the Brazilian side, you will see a lot of the Falls, the quantity always depends on the current volume of water. At some times during the year one can see as many as 275 separate waterfalls cascading along the edges of 2,700 meters (1,6 miles) cliffs. The biggest attraction is "Devil´s Throat" where the largest volume of water passes with a strong and impressive roar that can be heard several miles away.

DAY 2: IGUASSU FALLS
Today you have a full day excursion to the Argentine side of the falls, getting a different perspective on this magnificent site. The majority of the trails and walkways are on the Argentine side of the falls, and most boat tours that take you up close to the falls also start on the Argentine side.
